An All Inclusive Maui Wedding Package Details and BBQ Rehearsal Dinner

After several months of arranging wedding planning details and coordination of wedding service providers, an all inclusive Maui wedding package was enjoyed by all! In early November, the bride’s mother utilized our short wedding planning questionnaire to inquire about getting married in Maui. A wedding couple enjoy a quiet moment in the pool at the Oceanfront wedding venue in Lahaina.The wedding couple is from Montana and were married on Maui in February. In addition to providing the catering services for both the wedding reception and welcome barbecue, I personally coordinated and planned the wedding package from beginning to end. Wedding attendees were greeted with fresh A wedding lei greeting for guests attending the Lahaina wedding.flower lei as they entered the private estate to attend the oceanfront wedding ceremony in Lahaina. Pastor Laki provided a traditional Hawaiian chant with conch shell blowing to welcome wedding guests and celebrated a Hawaiian wedding lei exchange between the bride and groom. A family friend performed the ceremony, serving as the wedding officiate.

Pastor Laki shared a live Hawaiian musical performance during the wedding cocktail hour as guests savored our popular International Cheese Display with Artisan Breads and a Selection of Fresh Fruits.

After the wedding photography with time to mingle, the bride and groom announced dinner and welcomed guests to the Grand Table with seating for 40. Talk about an amazing oceanfront dinning location: It is rare to enjoy a dinner on Maui any closer than this Lahaina wedding venue!

The dinner got underway when a Seafood Bouillabaisse with Saffron Aioli and Garlic Croutons was served as the first entrée and followed by a palate cleansing Passion Fruit Sorbet in a Pineapple Boat.

The gourmet wedding reception dinner main course featured a Surf and Turf menu of Lobster and Ahi with Filet Mignon thoughtfully paired with the chef’s Tropical Salsa Merlot Reduction and Tahitian Vanilla Butter. Vegetarian wedding guests were served Portabella Napoleon with Soft Polenta, Risotto and Root Vegetables.

Shades of purple orchid linen napkins and full length table runner accented the wedding color scheme and highlighted colorful floral wedding centerpieces. Cupcakes for a wedding in Lahaina are garnished with edible flowers.A small wedding cake for the couple’s cake cutting ceremony and cupcakes for guests were supplied by Maui Wedding Cakes. In addition to champagne for toasting, the couple provided liquor and utilized our bar service for the wedding reception. Maui Wedding Planning Included with Catering Packages

In addition to full service catering for the wedding reception dinner, a complete Maui wedding package all inclusive was customized to match the preferences of the mother of the bride in Montana. We utilized Pinterest for exchanging ideas and to help the bride visualize her destination wedding on Maui. Phone conversations, text messages, and email communication facilitated the wedding planning details. So everything was already on Maui when the couple getting married arrived, the bride used free shipping from Amazon to send us her wedding favorsDo it yourself Maui wedding favors shipped by Amazon with free shipping to Hawaii. and do it yourself wedding decorations. The fabulous team of wedding service providers we assembled supplied everything else from the wedding flowers and professional photography and wedding officiate through the wedding cake and cupcakes.

The catering menu for the welcome bbq began with our Special Humus and Pita Chips with Cripsy Vegetables. Kalua Pork Quesadiallas with Roasted Slasa satisfied those preferring a hot appetizer. The catered buffet included a Caesar Salad and Garlic Bread. Chef Jorgensen personally prepared Mahi, Chicken or Tofu Fish Tacos from the wedding food station with a house made Tropical Salsa and all the trimmings one would expect at a food truck serving street tacos or from a chef action station! The buffet catering menu included Pinapple Glazed Chicken Chiabatta with Asian Slaw, Hoisan BBQ Rosated Pork and Chili Lime Molokai Corn. The catered welcome barbecue finished with Maui Pinapple Spears, Mini Cookies and Brownies for dessert.

Wonderful for a Sunday Brunch since you can order breakfast until 11:00am! Had a ‘custom’ 3 ingredient omelette (I chose mushrooms, feta and spinach) with nicely crunchy on the outside and soft inside home potatoes, yummy. Hubby had the pancakes with fresh fruit! These are light fluffy slightly sweet batter pancakes, not those heavy bland ones (OK I admit it, I had to have a few bites of his breakfast…) Service was fast and friendly :0). The menu is EXTENSIVE, we live here and love it!

CJ’s Deli and Diner Maui Restaurant Review

Fact: CJ’s Maui onion soup will melt your face off it’s so good. Best I’ve ever had. It gets 20 stars.
Alas, it’s not on the menu every day… But when my fiancee and I went this past summer and were lucky to meet Chef CJ in person and mentioned that we had been thinking about the onion soup since the last time we visited two years earlier, he was kind enough to put it on the next day’s menu. We went back the following day and ordered it, and it was amazing, just as we had remembered. Another fact: the onion soup at CJ’s is better than the onion soup at Mama’s Fish House (and at like 1/4th of the price). Really. It’s that good. Part of me wants to reverse engineer CJ’s onion soup recipe, quit my job, and make millions selling onion soup to the mainland masses! (or: CJ, wanna make a deal?)
I think that the loco moco gravy is made from the same goodness. So that’s great too. The potato salad is tasty as well.
The to-go lunch plate is respectable.

Maui Chef CJ Prepares Mushroom Soup for Kaanapali Restaurant Guest

On a previous visit to Maui, I had the most delicious mushroom soup at CJ’s Deli and Diner in Kaanapali. When I arrived in Maui this week, I emailed the restaurant and asked what day they might have the soup. The owner and chef, Christian Jorgensen (CJ), promptly replied even though he was on vacation in Vegas. He gave me a number to call to check on the soup of the day. Then when he returned to Maui on Friday, he emailed me to let me know he would have the soup for me on Saturday. When I got there, he was so friendly and the soup was even more scrumptious than I had remembered. I really appreciated how valued he made me feel as a customer.

Aloha, We were in to see you many times during our stay last month in Ka’anapali, couple of things for you:
Need to order some more of your CJ’s roasted Kona Coffee. I see it’s not yet on your website, only the Maui Coffee Co. stuff. We ran out last weekend and are having withdrawls, please help!! Need 2 bags urgently!!
Secondly, your claim about having the best corned beef hash on the island. I think you’ve understated this because it’s the best I’ve had any where in the world! And that covers a lot of ground as I’ve been to every continent multiple times. Just the best anywhere, period!! Don’t suppose you would have that for delivery to Indiana would you? Maybe by the pound(s)?
Great people and even better food, Mahalo CJ’s. Seriously though, please let me know about that coffee. How do we get some ordered and shipped to Indiana?

​CJ’s Deli & Diner Rocks! Been here several times while visiting Maui – each time we tried different meals and each time we LOVED the food, service and atmosphere. Only suggestion would be to provide regular dinner napkins along with this paper type – because we’re messy!
